What is Shopit?


Shopit is part of Trendwell Co., established in Luxembourg in 1988







Trendwell Co. has offered its customers the possibility to purchase groceries from Finland through the Shopit ordering program since 2005. Starting in January 2026, the ordering method was renewed and made easier: the downloadable order lists of the Shopit ordering program was removed and customers are able to make purchases directly from Finland's most popular online food store, the S-kaupat verkkokauppa online store (in short S-kaupat) (s-kaupat.fi), with deliveries to Luxembourg, the Brussels area including pickup points in Belgium and Strasbourg in France.

The S-kaupat is part of the S Group, which is Finland's largest grocery store operator.

Practically all dry, beverage and chilled products from the S-kaupat can be ordered, as well as occasionally frozen products. Fresh products from the S-kaupat Ruokatori, products from the Paistopiste and large, bulky items cannot be ordered. Product prices are Finnish prices. The product range available for ordering is very wide, of hypermarket class (Prisma), and the purchase price (S-kaupat purchases plus shipping and delivery fees) is even cheaper than the previous Shopit pricing, for purchases of 65-70 euros or more. The S-kaupat ordering instructions are in Finnish, Swedish and English, and product information is in Finnish and Swedish.

Deliveries are once a month. Information for S-kaupat orders, i.e. information about order and pickup times, pickup address, deadline and product groups that can be ordered, as well as delivery times, can be found in the "Etusivu: Shopit with S-kaupat" menu, as well as in the email sent to customers on the mailing list as the order time approaches. You can order at any time, but collection and deliveries are only once a month. The S-kaupat customer service answers in matters related to the ordering application and products. Trendwell Co. answers in matters related to shipping, customer deliveries and invoicing.

The subscriber's customer information is not passed on to the S Group, because orders are placed without logging in to the S-kaupat. The S-kaupat bonus program cannot be used even if you are an S Group member, because the S Group bonus program only applies to those resident in Finland. You can take advantage of the S-kaupat offers if the offers fall on a pickup day in Finland.



Ordering


  • Go to the website s-kaupat.fi

         Important! Do not log in to the website, even if you'd be a member of the S Group. Do not create an S user account either.

         - Click “Skip / Ohita”

         - Pickup time “Pickup / Nouto” as stated on trendwell.lu website under the heading “Stusivu: Shopit with S-kaupat”

         - Click “Select time / Valitse aika”

  • Select the desired products and quantities

  • Check your Shopping Cart in the upper right corner of the page (shopping cart icon), mark whether products can be replaced

  • Click “Go to checkout/ Siirry kassalle”

  • Click “Order without logging in / Tilaa kirjautumatta”

    The transport organizer (Trendwell Co.) will automatically be notified of your order and will send you a confirmation message from the S-kaupat with a green "Edit order/ Muokkaa tilausta" order link                         . If you want to modify your order, DO NOT place a new order, but ONLY make the modifications via the green "Edit order / Muokkaa tilausta" order link in the confirmation message. S-kaupat charges a collection fee for each new order. We are automatically informed of modifications made by the order deadline, so you do not need to notify us separately, should you modify. The deadline is on Friday of the order week at 23:00 (CET), after which the ordering facility will be closed after which no changes can be made to the order.

    Orders are collected in transport boxes in Finland on Wednesday of the collection week, transported as cool cargo and delivered to customers in Luxembourg mainly on Friday and Saturday, to the Brussels area and to pick-up locations in Belgium on Sunday and to Strasbourg on Monday. A more precise delivery time will be announced when the collection week arrives. The entire transport chain is at a cool temperature. Products with a best before date that does not last beyond the delivery date will be frozen and delivered frozen. It is the customer's responsibility to determine the general suitability of the product for the purchase, especially regarding the general shelf life of the product. The internal dimensions of the shipping box are L48 x W32 x H26 cm (40L). An individual product must fit within the dimensions of the shipping box.



    Product prises - S-kaupat receipt for purchases (same prices for all delivery areas                                           )

    Product prices are S-kaupat prices. S-kaupat charges a collection fee for the order (2.90 euros) and a material fee (0.85 EUR/box), both of which appear on the S-kaupat receipt.


    Shipping and delivery fee from Finland to the delivery/pickup address

    • When the S-kaupat receipt for purchases is 0.01-80.00 euros, the transportation and delivery fee is 43.08 euros plus Luxembourg VAT (17%), i.e. the total transportation and delivery fee is 50.40 euros.

    • When the S-kaupat receipt for purchases is over 80.00 euros, the transportation and delivery fee is 0.63 x the S-kaupat receipt. For example, the total transportation and delivery fee for S-kaupat receipt of 120.00 euros is 75.60 euros.


    Total invoice

    The total invoice is S-kaupat receipt for purchases plus Shipping and delivery fee from Finland. The customer will receive a total invoice by email from Trendwell Co, the transport organizer, when the products have been collected and sent from Finland (on Wednesday). For example, the shipping and delivery fee for purchases of 120.00 euros (S-kaupat receipt) is 75.60 euros, making the total invoice amount to 195.60 euros (120.00 + 75.60 euros).



    The total invoice for the customer (S-kaupat receipt for purchases plus shipping and delivery fee) is cheaper than the previous Shopit pricing, for purchases of 65-70 euros and above. The total invoice must be paid before delivery.

    On average, the purchase price of purchases less than 70 euros is more expensive than the previous Shopit pricing due to the minimum shipping fee. The customer-specific shipping unit is always at least one box, no matter how few items there are in a box, because the goods are collected in the store for each customer in their own box and shipped from the store to the destination in their own box. On the other hand, the shipping fee only increases by a percentage, meaning that if there are goods amounting to 1.5 boxes, the shipping fee is 1.5 times the shipping fee for one box, not the shipping fee for two boxes, even if the goods were delivered in two boxes. It is recommended to place small orders through the Bakerson Webshop.

    - To the border areas of the cantons of Luxembourg and Remich in the cantons of Esch-sur-Alzette, Capellen, Mersch and            Grevenmacher - additional delivery fee of 8 euros

    Deliveries to Belgium:

    - Deliveries to the Brussels city centre area are only made in exceptional cases. On the west side of the Brussels Ring Road        (RO), deliveries can only be made to the areas bordering the N2, R21 and N4, and on the east side of the RO to the vicinity of    the ring road. Please ask first if delivery to your address is possible. Additional delivery fee of 8 euros.



    Deliveries to France/Strasbourg:

    - IKEA Strasbourg parking area immediately on the left as you enter (48°35'57.0"N 7°43'55.9"E).





    Any defects/comments regarding the products must be reported to S-kaupat customer service (s-kaupat.fi/asiakaspalvelu)      in accordance with the S-kaupat verkkokauppa ordering and delivery terms (s-kaupat.fi/sivu/tilaus-ja-toimitusehdot).


    Any comments regarding deliveries and invoicing must be reported to Trendwell Co by email (mail@trendwell.lu) no later          than 3 days after delivery.

    - The entire S-kaupat online store selection is available for ordering - dry (including drinks) and chilled, and occasionally also      frozen (with the exceptions mentioned on the Shopit with S-kaupat front page)

    - Refrigerated shipping and delivery from Finland to the delivery or pickup address

    - Delivery is at best within two days of collection in Finland

    - The S-kaupat ordering and delivery terms apply where applicable.
